Tusker Brings Back The Party To The Safari Sevens

Last weekend Tusker Lager brought the party back to the annual Safari sevens rugby tournament, held at the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi. With the Safari sevens having endured tough times with reducing fan numbers in recent years, Tusker took up the tournament’s title sponsorship rights as part of the brand’s 115 Million investment in the sport of rugby. As a result of the sponsorship, the 2019 Tusker Safari sevens attracted a record number of top teams from around the world, including the 2017/18 HSBC World Series champions, South Africa, Spain, the Russia Academy which was coached by sevens legend Waisele Serevi, defending Champions Samurai, Seventise Rugby of France among others.
