East Africa’s leading alcohol beverage company East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL), was among the companies feted at the just concluded Employer of choice awards organized by African recruitment specialists Global Career Company that was held in Nairobi last week. The beer maker won the Best Graduate Employer award under the graduate management category and came second in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.
Speaking at the function, on the topic ‘Leveraging Millennial Talent for Future Leadership’, Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) Head of Talent Engagement, Nicholas Kasidhi, attributed the awards to the company’s commitment of producing a pool of qualified human resource professionals who contribute immensely to East Africa’s socio-economic development, who drive regional growth and the company’s reliance on sustainable growth and development of its local communities.

The awards methodology takes company ratings provided by prospective employers across 29 attraction drivers, asking talent to grade organisations against all drivers.

The brewer has provided direct employment to over 1500 people and indirect employment to another 2 million across East Africa.
