The Board announces the resignation of Ms. Kathryne Maundu as the Company Secretary of EABL with effect from 23rd October 2023. 

In her tenure as Company Secretary since March 2020, Kathryne has demonstrated professionalism, competence, diplomacy and tact in establishing meaningful relationships with the Board members, senior executives and stakeholders; she has been a trusted advisor to the Board. 

We take this opportunity to wish Kathryne the very best in all her future endeavours. 

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Angela Namwakira as the Company Secretary of EABL with effect from 24th October 2023. 

Angela, a Partner at Adili Corporate Services Kenya, is a corporate governance and legal professional with over 15 years of experience acting as Company Secretary to various reputable multinationals, locally quoted companies, not-for-profit entities, and small and medium sized enterprises spanning multiple sectors. 

She has a demonstrable track record as a corporate governance advisor and as a corporate secretarial practitioner, and she regularly advises on company law, statutory and regulatory compliance, strategic planning, corporate structuring and immigration matters. 

Angela holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Nairobi. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a practising Certified Secretary and an accredited Governance Auditor. She is also a Member of the Women on Boards Network (WOBN). The Board congratulates Ms. Namwakira on her appointment and welcomes her to the Board.
